Further details about the study can be found on the Commission’s web site - http://ec.europa.eu/newsroom/dae/document.cfm?action=display&doc_id=17802 & https://ec.europa.eu/digital-single-market/en/news/5g-deployment-could-bring-millions-jobs-and-billions-euros-benefits-study-finds
The study has attracted a lot of interest. Indeed, Jean-Claude Juncker quoted results from the study in his State of the Union address to the European Parliament - http://ec.europa.eu/priorities/state-union-2016_en
Thanks you to those who showed an interest in our study and the contributed to the online debate and the two workshops in Brussels.
Two partners in the study (Tech4i2 and Trinity College Dublin) have been commissioned by the EC to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the progress of the €700 million support for 5G PPP projects.
